Programme Leader (for MBA and MA in Leadership)


The appointees will be required to:

  • teach a range of courses in respective programmes, or team-teach courses with faculty flying in from partner universities

  • adapt and enrich course syllabuses and teaching materials to suit the Hong Kong / Asian context

  • provide regular face-to-face tutorial support for courses delivered online

  • co-ordinate and communicate with overseas partners in all day-to-day programme administration and delivery matters

  • oversee and ensure the smooth operation of respective programmes including student recruitment and registration, class scheduling, monitoring of student progress, student support and development, etc.

  • co-ordinate and support adjunct faculty of respective programmes

  • engage in professional development activities, particularly those pertaining to the integration of faith and learning



Applicants should possess a doctorate in respective discipline(s), with at least 3 years of tertiary teaching experience using English as the medium of instruction. Preferably, they would have relevant professional experience in related subject areas and/or administrative experience in tertiary education. They are expected, as Christians, to be able to illustrate the relevance of biblical truths to materials taught, and as such prior theological training would be desirable. Applicants should also have a passion for teaching, scholarship, and service, with the aspiration and commitment to respond to a calling for quality Christian higher education to be developed on a globalizing scale.


Terms of Appointment

Successful candidates will be appointed on a full-time fixed-term contract. Fringe benefits will include annual leave, medical benefits, and insurance coverage. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
