Over 20 years of experience in teaching and education across the secondary, post-secondary, and tertiary levels, with later years focusing more on academic programme planning, management, and development. Training and intellectual exposure to a wide range of disciplines including literature, applied linguistics, language teaching, education, theology, and counseling. Former Senior Lecturer at Hong Kong Baptist University; and Head of Training and Development, Head of Global Connections and Development, as well as Head of English and European Languages at the School of Continuing and Professional Studies in The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Besides teaching a variety of English and Communication courses, Dr. Mak has also conducted training on Principles of Teaching, Developmental and Learning Needs of Youths, Interview Skills, Leadership, Teamwork, and Career Planning for participants from a wide spectrum of intellectual levels and professional experience.
